Dr. Blumer is an academic physician, former journal editor and book author who has 15 years of experience in the field of education, publication, editing and science related writing. She is a member of American Medical Writers Association, and the Council of Science Editors and was the 2015 Western University of Health Sciences ‘Teacher of the Year’.
